Bermuda is a British island in the Atlantic, famous for pink-sand beaches, pastel cottages, turquoise coves and a polished, safe atmosphere. Most ships dock overnight at the Royal Naval Dockyard, giving you two days to explore by ferry and bus.

Melody's pickHorseshoe Bay is a must at least once. That curve of pink sand is even prettier in person. My tip: walk along the beach toward the little coves to the east, where it's quieter and just as beautiful.

Port-specific access research
Mobility & accessibility in Bermuda
Bermuda’s ferry access depends on the stop, not simply the route name; a Dockyard-to-Hamilton trip has different requirements from cave sightseeing.
Published sources reviewed October 17, 2026. This is desk research, not an on-site access audit. Access can change with the ship, berth, equipment and operating conditions.
Attractions and excursions: what changes the choice
Public ferry connections
Only specified stops listed as wheelchair accessible
The tourism authority’s 2026 map identifies wheelchair access at Hamilton Ferry Terminal, Dockyard, Rockaway and St. George’s stops only. Check the particular vessel and operating service before traveling; not every waterfront stop is interchangeable.
Descent and floating bridge; step-free route unverified
The official tourism description includes descending underground and crossing a floating bridge. It does not document a lift or wheelchair route. Do not interpret a cave being reachable by road or bus as wheelchair access inside.
Planning suggestion: Consider a confirmed Dockyard–Hamilton ferry outing, or reserve an adapted vehicle from the providers listed on the tourism map. Exclude cave entry until its physical requirements are answered.
