All public floors by elevator
The museum says all exhibits are wheelchair accessible and all public floors have elevator access, including its roofwalk. It provides first-come manual wheelchairs, accessible first-floor restrooms and listening devices for presentations. Confirm the elevator is operating before making the roofwalk essential.
East entrance and elevator route
The town's disability resources identify an accessible east-side entrance to the downtown Atheneum and an elevator reaching its rooms. This is a useful indoor stop; ask about events and opening hours rather than assuming unrestricted access at all times.
