Haleakalā summit facilities
Accessible centers; steep summit ramp
NPS lists accessible visitor centers and toilets but says the summit building's steep ramp may require assistance. Park trails are unpaved and unsuitable for wheelchair use.
Maui's cruise port at Kahului is a working harbour, but the island beyond is spectacular — the Haleakalā summit crater, the winding Road to Hāna, the ʻĪao Valley and the snorkelling crater of Molokini.

Ships dock at Kahului Harbor on Maui's north coast, an industrial area with few services.
Tour buses and some taxis wait at the pier; rentals need a shuttle.
Haleakalā, the Road to Hāna and Molokini boats (from Māʻalaea) all need transport.
Kahului has malls and Costco near the airport.
One commercial harbour.

Accessible centers; steep summit ramp
NPS lists accessible visitor centers and toilets but says the summit building's steep ramp may require assistance. Park trails are unpaved and unsuitable for wheelchair use.
Adaptations offered; surfaces and assistance matter
The operator describes the add-on as ADA compliant but notes varying uneven surfaces, wind and noise. Manual-wheelchair visitors should bring their own attendant and contact the aquarium before booking.
Planning suggestion: Choose one main outing: confirmed summit facilities with adapted transport, or an aquarium visit with the appropriate support.
