San Diego has one of the most walkable cruise terminals in the US — ships dock right on the downtown Embarcadero, steps from the USS Midway Museum and Little Italy. Perfect weather, the famous zoo and beaches make it a great port day or pre-cruise stay.

The museum lists elevators from Navy Pier to the Hangar Deck and between the hangar, Flight Deck and second deck below. Accessible restrooms are on the hangar and Flight Decks; loan chairs are first-come.
The museum places accessibility video kiosks on the Flight, Hangar and Second Decks to interpret spaces not easily reached. Do not assume the bridge or every compartment is included in the elevator route.
